URL Encoder / Decoder

Encode text for safe use in a URL, or decode a percent-encoded URL back to readable text. Updates as you type — all in your browser, nothing uploaded.

Encode
Encode vs. decode: encoding turns characters that aren't safe in a URL (spaces, &, ?, /, accented letters, and so on) into % codes; decoding turns them back. Component vs. Full URL: use Component for a single value you're dropping into a query string — it escapes / ? : & = too, since those would otherwise be read as URL structure. Use Full URL when you're encoding a whole address and want to keep those structural characters intact. Everything runs in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
