Pictures into one document

Receipts, a set of scanned pages, photographs of a whiteboard, screenshots for a bug report. Several images that need to arrive as one file somebody can open, page through and print.

Drop them in, drag the thumbnails into the order you want, choose a page size and save. Each image becomes a page.

Which page size to pick

A4 or Letter centres each image on a standard page, which is what you want if it is going to be printed or filed alongside other documents.

Fit image makes each page exactly the size of its image, with no border at all. That is the right choice for screenshots and anything meant to be read on screen, where a white margin is just wasted space.

The four-image limit, stated plainly

This free tool makes a PDF of up to four images. Drop more and it uses the first four and greys out the rest. That is a deliberate boundary, not a bug — it is a quick tool, and it stays free and complete for the quick job.

For unlimited images, reordering pages, mixing in existing PDF pages and real editing, our full PDF editor is the buy-once step up. The limit is where the line between the two sits, and it is better to say so on the page than to let you find it at image five.

Questions

Common questions

What does this tool do?

It combines your images into one PDF file, with each image becoming a page. Drop your pictures, arrange the order, and save the PDF. It's free for up to 4 images per PDF.

How do I make a PDF from images?

Drop your images onto the page (or click to choose), drag the thumbnails into the order you want, pick a page size, then click Make PDF. The file saves to your computer.

How do I change the page order?

Just drag the thumbnails into the order you want — the page numbers update as you go. The PDF follows that order.

Why can I only add 4 images?

This free tool makes a quick PDF of up to 4 images. If you drop more, it uses the first 4 and shows you the rest greyed out. For unlimited images and full page control, our full PDF editor is the buy-once upgrade.

What if I need more than 4 images in one PDF?

Our full PDF editor combines as many images as you like, lets you reorder pages and mix in existing PDF pages, and does full PDF editing — bought once, with no subscription. It's the step up when this quick tool isn't enough.

What page sizes can I choose?

A4 or Letter put each image centered on a standard page, which is best for printing. 'Fit image' makes each page exactly the size of its image, with no border — good for keeping images edge to edge.

What image formats can I use?

Common ones like PNG, JPG, and WEBP all work. Each image, whatever its format, becomes one page in the PDF.

Are my images private?

Completely. The PDF is built entirely inside your browser — your images are never uploaded and never leave your computer. That's a real difference from the web tools that require sending your files to their server.
