Text to PDF Converter
Turn typed or pasted text into a clean, paginated PDF. It runs entirely in your browser, so the file never leaves your computer.
Plain text into something you can send
Notes, a letter, a block of pasted text, a log extract — things that exist as raw text and need to become a file somebody else can open and print without caring what you wrote it in.
Paste, optionally add a title, choose page size, font and margins, and save. Lines wrap to the page width and the text flows onto as many pages as it needs. A title, if you give one, appears in bold at the top and names the file.
Why only three fonts
Helvetica, Times and Courier are the standard PDF base fonts. Every PDF reader on every platform already has them, so they do not need embedding.
That keeps the file small and — more importantly — guarantees it renders identically wherever it is opened. A PDF with an embedded exotic font is bigger and has more ways to go wrong on someone else's machine.
What it does not do
This takes plain text and produces a clean, paginated PDF. It does not carry bold, headings, images or any other rich formatting, because its input has none.
If you need a formatted document, start with MarkPost to get structure from Markdown or Word. If you need to edit an existing PDF, that is a different job and our full PDF editor is the fit.
Questions
Common questions
What does this tool do?
It turns plain text you type or paste into a clean PDF file, automatically wrapping lines and flowing onto as many pages as needed. Handy for turning notes, a letter, or pasted text into something you can share or print.
How do I make a PDF?
Paste or type your text in the box, optionally add a title, pick the page size, font, and margins, then click Make PDF. The file saves to your computer.
What does the title field do?
If you fill it in, the title appears in bold at the top of the first page and is also used to name the PDF file. Leave it blank and the file is just named 'document'.
What fonts and sizes can I choose?
Three built-in fonts: Helvetica (sans-serif), Times (serif), and Courier (monospace), at 10, 12, or 14 point. These are the standard PDF fonts, so the file stays small and opens correctly everywhere.
Does it keep my paragraphs and blank lines?
Yes. Line breaks and blank lines between paragraphs are preserved, and long lines wrap to fit the page width. The text flows onto new pages automatically when one fills up.
Can I keep bold, headings, or images?
No — this tool is for plain text into a clean PDF. It doesn't carry rich formatting like bold, headings, or images. For a document with full formatting, our full PDF editor is the better fit.
Is my text private?
Completely. The PDF is built entirely inside your browser — your text is never uploaded or sent anywhere, so it's safe for drafts, notes, or anything private.
